Magazine pics and Lashes first try

So first off a little disclaimer, i haven't been sleeping much so yes i know i have bags under my eyes, also the before lashes picture is after a night out where i got back at 6 am.

But Magazine scans first, Nuts was everything i expected, however Edge-S was a slight disappointment to me, they had some nice make up tutorials but apart from that it was mainly articles and not alot on fashion for my taste.

Right so the first picture is before lashes and obviously, the second is after. Would like opinions.
Also no make up, sorry if i've tramatised anyone.
After

Thoughts, comments, all welcome sorry for the long post <3

Special delivery

So i got my first of two packages :)

Here it is :

Whats in the package? (yes that is my dressing gown, i was excited okay?)

I got nuts because its full of mode gyaru recently and it came with free emoda flip flops >.< now is not the time to wear flip flops in england so i'll probably just wear them around the house so my feet don't get cold or dirty. I also got the new magazine Edge Style, i haven't heard much about it but i thought it was worth a shot, i hear its aimed for older gals around 20 and above, *cough* thats me *cough*. Unfortunately i don't own a scanner but will take photos of the pages that i find interesting or helpful to any of you.

Thats all for now, however there will be an upcoming post about me trying lashes for the first time, and for first timers they recommend accent lashes which is exactly what i brought, hope i don't stab my eye or something.

Birthday Post & Gets

Right this is a quick birthday post, which is just the presents from my family as none have come from my friends yet.

Then i have a few gets, i just brought a lace top which i'm still trying to understand what is the most acceptable way to wear it :\ for mode gyaru, i need some sort of body con skirt/dress or even a tulip one i'm getting really into it and i want to up my game for gyaru. Also i brought 2 pairs of tights which were both in the sale one has dots and stripes and one is just stripes and they are a little bit thicker for the colder weather of england :).

Also i've started scrapbooking recently well its more like cutting things out of magazines of what inspires me kinda like a vision board.

On Another note i'm looking for pen pals so if anyone wants to write just drop a comment, i prefer snail mail as i like the tension of waiting for the letter to come :)

Blogging motivation

Right now i've not really had the motivation to blog due to breaking up with my boyfriend. Its hard for me because i've never really been single long, its not cause i'm pretty or anything or go looking for it its just people come to me.

So friday night i went out for a joint birthday party mine and this other girls, it was meant to be a wheres wally theme but i just dressed how i felt like dressing.

Currently i am waiting on two packages i really hope they come, one is a lucky pack of mixed brand gyaru stuff and the other is two magazines August nuts and Edges style. I'll post pictures of my haul. Also waiting for a package off my friend for my birthday :)

Also really loving the mode trend a persuaded myself to buy a black lace top cause my mum got me some shoe boots for my birthday [ which i also need to post about my presents] but the black lace top makes me feel self conscious about my body so i've decided i'll do a workout dvd and yoga everyday to try and get myself into shape it should also help with how i'm feeling currently.

How thin is too Thin?

Right this is just an article i wrote about my views on dieting, again i know that naturally skinny girls get the same amount of prejudice as women with curves.

In the 1900's, the perfect size for women was between 16-18[uk]. These days this sizing is seen as large or plus size, what changed our opinion? Magazines try to teach us to embrace our curves or to look at our figure, Tv shows tell us how to look good naked for any shape or size, yet we are surrounded by diet shows, low fat food and the fight of girls wanting to be a size zero [size 4 in uk]. We hear the average size of women today is between 12-14, how did this change from the 1900's when there seems to be less homecooked food and more fast food? Has our busy lifestyles caused our average weight to change or are we just obsessed by dieting?

Models on the catwalk ranger from the extreme size zero to a tiny size eight, models above a size eight are classed as plus sized models. How is this impacting out perspective on what size women need to be to be 'beautiful'? One designer,Mark Fast, during london fashion week put only plus sized models on his catwalk, to try to fight the backlash of size zero but why can't designers do this all the time? Make clothes for the average woman, this is the market audience they are trying to reach after all. And its not just western women that feel this pressure, even in the east where women have tiny frames, they still feel the need to diet, to weigh nothing more than a feather, all their fashion magazines filled with diet tips, ideas of how to lose weight such as staying in a hot bath up to the waist for forty minutes and these are the standards they have learnt from their idols, most of which happen to be hollywood stars.

What example are we setting girls of the next generation? How thin is too thin? We know the perfect weight doesn't exist so why do we try so hard for a perfection that doesn't exist? In my opinion, beauty is what you percieve it to be if you feel beautiful and comfortable in your own skin then you are [as long as you are healthy]. Confidence is what makes women beautiful not size or weight. And remember a smile makes you instantly more beautiful.
